Tidewater House is a low, modern house on PEI's south shore. Seen from above, it's a simple layout: long flat rooflines, a pool and terrace running alongside the house, and several notches cut into the shape that give it its look, especially at the entrance.
The house is mostly glass, which brings in plenty of light and keeps the water in view from every room. Two of the notches sit in the middle of the plan, with trees growing up through each of the openings.
Outside, the garage is separate from the main house, the landscaping is simple and deliberate, and the pool sits right next to the house with a massive lounging area.
It's the only house like it on PEI, and at night it lights up over the water.
